Barry Hagan: Partners: Customer Carewords  Barry has extensive senior management experience in marketing, business process, business development, management consulting, and the strategic application of ebusiness.Since 2000, Barry has worked closely with Gerry McGovern and has been responsible for developing and delivering client projects and workshops. Many of these have been strategic workshops specifically for large organisations, for example a series commissioned by the Northern Ireland Government Editorial Board, a series delivered jointly for the Institute of Directors and Chief Executives Forum, as well as numerous specific client workshops. Client assignments have been for both private and public sector organisations. Working with Gerry McGovern and Brian Lamb, these assignments have applied Gerry McGovern’s methodology and focussed on pragmatic strategies and policies for the effective use of websites and intranets and the publishing of content. Barry was managing director of VISION, a leading business process outsourcing consultancy, was previously marketing and business development director for ICL Ireland, and has previously held board positions with USA and UK software products and services companies. In these positions he has created new products and services, identified and developed new channels to market, created new businesses and business divisions and developed extensive experience as a marketer. Barry is keenly interested in how businesses develop, grow and embrace new challenges. He has hands-on experience in a wide range of business sectors in both the private and public sector, in the UK, Ireland and internationally. In the private sector he has led and been involved with business transformation, business development, change management and strategic marketing programs for financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics and computer organisations throughout Europe, USA, Middle East and the Far East. Barry is a recent director, and former chairman, of Momentum (the Software Industry Federation for N. Ireland). He is a recent council member of the Confederation of British Industry. where he represented the information and communications technologies sector and contributed to ebusiness, innovation and economic development forums. Barry created the Knowledge Management Exchange for the Institute of Directors and the Chief Executives Forum. He is a business mentor for Business in the Community. He is a past Chairman of the Computer Services and Software Association in Northern Ireland and has been a judge for the past two years for the ESat BT Golden Spider Website Awards.
